After kill some of my brain cells, i rewrote my small perl program in multithread fashion, wishing i might get some performance improvements. But to my surprise, except the hard-to-read code, I don't get anything ,no improvements on speed. the multithread version is slower than the sing thread in any test cases.

I recall some one once said, don't touch multithread unless it's REALLY necessary.
